I am a guitar teacher in London, specialising in classical and acoustic guitar tuition.
I believe that these will introduce
students to a wide range of repertoire and provide the basis for building a good technique on the instrument.
If you are just beginning guitar lessons this will enable you to start playing folk tunes
and classical pieces right from the start.
For students who have already studied, I look to build upon their own areas of interest and previous study. I look to combine both formal and informal learning, combining classical, popular and folk material.

Practice makes perfect
To make good progress with their guitar lessons I encourage all my students to think carefully about when they can practise and to set time aside for this. As a beginner I recommend 15 minutes, four times a week.
This will enable good progression and allow students to consider entering for Trinity College or ABRSM
examinations after a year's initial study. Or alternatively set you on the road to forming a band, performing at open mics, recording your own compositions or simply playing for your own pleasure at home after a long hard week!
